You can customize your church website template as often as you like by downloading any of Sharefaith’s thousands of church website banners, featuring a variety of themes, colors, designs, and seasonal motifs and then customize them using Sharefaith’s new Image Editor allowing you to add text on top of any image directly in your website.

Note: If your website options do not match the directions in this article it means your website needs to be updated by following the steps in this tutorial.

What is a homepage website banner?

Your homepage banner is the most prominent aspect of your homepage. It’s also the first thing that users will see when they visit your site. Use this space to advertise a welcome message, new sermons, upcoming events, special announcements, conferences, or anything else you may want to promote. Your website banner can link to any place, whether on your site or on an external site.

How to Upload a Banner that was Created using the Image Editor

This video will show you how to add a banner that you created using the new Image Editor. The process is the same as adding a banner that has not been created using the Image Editor, except for one small step.

How to Upload a Pre-designed Banner

This video will show you how to upload a pre-designed banner directly from your computer (one you will not be adding text to or editing with the Image Editor).
