How to Upload a .mp3 Audio File to a Page or Post
The process of uploading a .mp3 file is the same regardless of whether it is being added to a Page or to a Post.
- Log in to your website Control Panel.
- Click on Page or Post > Add New or Edit a page.
- Place your cursor on the exact spot in the page where you want the audio player to appear.
- Click on the Upload/Insert icon above the content editor:

- A new window will open. Click “Select Files,” then locate the Mp3 file on your computer.
Note: There is a 30MB size limit for uploaded recordings.
- You will see a percentage status bar as your audio is being uploaded.

- Once the upload is complete, you’ll see a number of options. There are three options that you need to be aware of: Title, Audio Player, and Insert into Post.
- The Title should be the title of the audio file (i.e. song title, author, etc.).
Note: Do not use any of the following symbols in the title: Pipe |, square brackets [ ], or a comma.
- Click on Audio Player
- Click Insert into Post
In the content editor, the audio track will look like this:

However, once the page is published, it will look like this:

How do I make the player start automatically?
Add the autostart option to the [audio] tag by adding :”|autostart=yes” (without quotes) just after “.mp3″, like this:
