Editing the Homepage Template

Navigate to Templates> Morning Star | Homepage> click "Edit with Elementor."

The homepage is made up of various Sections.

1. Morning Star | Page Header Image Section
2. Morning Star | 5 Column Call to Action Section
3. Morning Star | Testimonial Carousel Section
4. Morning Star | Campus Location Toggle Section
5. Morning Star | Text Button Left Video Right Latest Sermon Section

1. Morning Star | Page Header Image Section

To edit the Section Template, navigate to Templates> Morning Star | Page Header Image Section> click "Edit with Elementor."

Editable Content:

1. Heading
2. Animated Heading
3. Button
4. Section Background: This is currently using a Slideshow.

2. Morning Star | 5 Column Call to Action Section

To edit the Section Template, navigate to Templates Morning Star | 5 Column Call to Action Section  Click "Edit with Elementor."

3. Morning Star | Testimonial Carousel Section

To edit the Section Template, navigate to Templates> Morning Star | Testimonial Carousel Section> click "Edit with Elementor."

4. Morning Star | Campus Location Toggle Section

To edit the Section Template, navigate to Templates> Campus Location Toggle Section> click "Edit with Elementor."

2. Toggle Widget: Within that Toggle widget, you'll notice that each Toggle Item has a shortcode added to the Content area. Each Toggle Item uses a different shortcode.

Part 1 of 3: Create the Section Content for a New Toggle

1. Create a new Section. Navigate to Templates> Click the "Section" tab> Click "Add New"
2. Name your new section and click "Create Template." 
   1. We recommend keeping the naming convention for each Section to be used in your Toggle the same (ex: Morning Star | Campus 4 Tab_Toggle Content Section).
   2. We've named the example content "Tab_Toggle" because you could drop the Section Shortcode in a Tab Widget if you prefer.
3. Click "My Templates" and Insert one of the previously made Sections (ex: Morning Star | Campus 1 Tab_Toggle Content Section).
   
   
4. Update the content as needed. The editable content within this Section is:
   1. Column 1: Image
   2. Column 2: Heading (Title), Heading (address), 2 Buttons
   3. Column 3: Heading (Title), Heading (name), Button, Heading (Title), Heading (name), Button
   4. Modern Events Calendar (MEC) widget: Shown using the Cover style.

5. Save your new Section by clicking "Publish" in the bottom right corner of the Elementor Menu. 
6. Copy the new Section's shortcode from the Section Template list.
   1. Navigate to Templates> Find the Section Template you just created and copy the shortcode.
      
      

Part 2 of 3: Add Your New Section to your Locations Toggle Item

1. Navigate to Templates Click "Sections" Find "Morning Star | Campus Location Toggle Section and click "Edit with Elementor."
2. Hover over the Toggle in Section Content and click the blue pencil icon.
   
   
3. Click "Add Item" in the "Edit Toggle" menu.
   
   
4. Add a Title
5. Paste your copied Shortcode into the Description field.
   1. Note that the shortcode text will appear in the Toggle.
      
      
   2. If you preview the Section, your new content will appear. Also, once you leave the Location section and return, your content will load.
6. Click "Update"  in the bottom right corner of the Elementor Menu. 

Part 3 of 3: Update your Homepage Locations Section

1. Navigate to Templates> Morning Star | Home> click "Edit with Elementor."
2. Right-click on the Location Section and click "Delete."
3. Click the "Add Section" plus icon to Insert your updated Location Section.
4. Click the "Add Template" Icon
5. Click the "My Templates" tab and Insert the "Morning Star | Campus Location Toggle Section."

5. Morning Star | Text Button Left Video Right Latest Sermon Section

To edit the Section Template, navigate to Templates> Morning Star | Text Button> Left Video> Right> Latest Sermon Section> click "Edit with Elementor."

Editable Content:

1. Column 1
   1. Heading (Latest Message)
   2. Heading (Date)
   3. Heading (Sermon Title Link to Sermon Single Post)
   4. Heading (Pastor's name and Campus Name)
   5. Button*
2. Column 2
   1. Heading (Watch & Listen)
   2. Video
   3. Audio
   4. Button*
3. Section Background: This is currently using Background Color

*There are two of the same "All Sermons" buttons because one shows up on Desktop and Tablet view and one shows up on Mobile view. You will need to edit both button titles and links if you want to change them.

How to Hide and Show Buttons on Different Devices

You can set a button to show/hide on Desktop, Tablet and Mobile by clicking the blue pencil icon to edit the Button Click the "Advanced" tab Open the "Responsive" drop-down. From here you can click the toggles to determine where the button is shown or hidden.
