Church Websites (Sidekick): How to create a Custom Footer

Creating a Footer is simple, quick and easy. Just check out this short video to find out just how to do it.

Click on the Content tab in Sidekick.

In Additional Pages, click Add New Page. Add your page title. I'm going to call this one Footer.

Now save. You will notice four icons on your page placeholder here. Click on the second one and it will make this page your footer.

The footer edits like any other page. In Parallax, you will be able to edit the full width background of your footer, and you can choose to use an image or adjust the color and texture. In our traditional templates, you will be able to change the background of your content section.

The footer will show up at the bottom of every page, giving you the opportunity to add things like a site map, social media buttons, contact information, service times, scrolling banners for announcements, or anything you can think of. And the footer shows on every page of your website, so you only need to edit it once and you are done.
