Church Websites (Sidekick): Delete a Page or Post

You don't have to get confused about deleting a page or post. Just watch this short video to find out how.

*This video overview may include some out-of-date images. We appreciate your patience as we work to get these videos updated.

Click on the content button.

You will see a trash icon on every page and post. Please understand that clicking the trash icon does not move pages to the additional pages area and instead puts them in the deleted pages area in the advanced section. When you find the one you want to delete, click on the trash icon.

Click apply changes. Now this page has been moved to the trash and is not permanently deleted. To permanently delete, click on the advanced tab.

In advanced, you can either click on page if you deleted a page or post if you deleted a post. I'm going to click on page for this one. Now here you can see all, mine, published, and trash.

Click on trash. If you want to delete all of the items in your trash folder, click on the empty trash button. If you have multiple pages to be deleted, you can select each one, then click bulk actions, then delete permanently.

If you'd like to delete just one page, simply hover over the section and click delete permanently.
