Church Websites (Sidekick): Parallax Website Design: Add a Subpage in Parallax

Learn how to add a subpage in your Parallax style template.

*This video overview may include some out-of-date images. We appreciate your patience as we work to get these videos updated.

Let's create a subpage in our parallax template real quick. Click on the content tab, then click on add new page.

The blueprint selection box pops up. Give your page a name. We’re going to call this one “Youth.”

Now you can select whether you want to create a blank page to start from scratch, or you can select one of your template's blueprints so that you can begin with an already formatted page. It is important to understand that even though the blueprints come pre-formatted, you can still customize them to look however you'd like. Once you have your page selected, it will automatically scroll you to the bottom of your site.

If you do not like the way your new page looks, you can click cancel and it goes away. If you do like the way it looks, before doing anything else, click save. This will ensure that your page does not get accidentally deleted.

If you do accidentally delete your page, you can recover it. Just check out the link below this tutorial and find out how to do that. Once you have saved your page, you will be able to see it in the navigation pages area.

To make it a subpage, click it, then drag it up underneath and to the right of the navigation page you wanted underneath. Now it shows up underneath that main navigation page here. Click apply changes and we are all done.

There are 3 templates that do not have the "Blueprint" Feature in them, so all that you need to do is title your page and click the green arrow and you will create a "blank page." The 3 templates that do not contain the "Blueprint Feature are; Damascus, City of Grace, and Grace.
