Church Websites (Sidekick): Calendar: How to Change Your Calendar Settings

Once you have your Google Calendar embedded onto your website, you can keep the original Google Calendar appearance.

Or, you can change your Calendar Settings to achieve a more customized look that blends into the design of your Sharefaith Website.

Let's change our calendar settings. Here we see the normal google calendar view. Let's change that. Click on the settings tab, then on calendar. Here we see four style settings and a color picker.

Dark will give us a dark background with white text. Light will give us a light background with dark text. And green gives us a unique look with black text and a green marker for the current date.

You cannot change the color of this marker. The fourth one sets you back to the normal google calendar view. The color picker works like all of the other color pickers on our website.

You can change the color by dragging the slider up and down, then change the shade in the shade picker, and finally set your transparency by dragging this slider up and down. Click apply changes and you are done. That's all for now.
