Let's crop an image in Pixlr. We are already at Pixlr.com.
Click the Launch Image web app on the Pixlr editor. Click Open Image from Computer. Click on the image, then Open.
By default, your crop tool is selected. We want to change this to a square, so we can find the size by clicking Image, then Image Size. Since we’re working with a banner, let’s use a lower number as my reference for the square.
That is 323. On a side note, sometimes you might like to cut your banners to half size. So if you wanted to do that, you would divide 323 in half. That would either be 160 or 161, depending on preference. Moving on. Hit the Cancel button.
Then, in the Constraints section, we are going to click Output Size. Then over here, we are going to change the width to 323. Now start from the top.
Click and drag your cursor to the bottom right. Expand your cropping box to full size. Then drag your box where you desire it to be.
Click outside your workspace. Click Yes, and here it is. You can check your work by clicking on Image, then Image Size. It is the size we want. Click Cancel. Then File. Save.
Change the name here if you like. We’re going to change it because if you don't, it overwrites the existing file. Make sure P&G is selected. Then click OK. Click Save and then you are done.
