Church Websites (Sidekick): Draft/Publish Feature: How to Turn Draft Mode On and Off

Whether you want to refresh the look of your site, prepare for an event or Holiday, or change templates, using the new Draft/Publish Feature is an excellent option.

Check out this quick video to learn more about this amazing tool.

Up at the top of your website is a toggle button. This button allows you to turn draft mode on and off. When the toggle is to the right and green, this means that you are in live edit mode.
So any changes that you make and then save or apply changes to will be live for all to see. Live mode is what you will be using most of the time. When the toggle is to the left and gray, you are in draft mode.
What this means is that you can save your changes without them showing up on your live site. This is especially useful when you want to change the look and feel of your website. While you are working on your changes, you can preview them by clicking the preview button.
And while previewing, you can copy your link and share it to anyone you would like.
