This resource comes with your ShareFaith Kids subscription at no additional cost, and it gives your Sunday school an added touch point with kids and their families. Simply put, it helps you take Sunday school beyond Sunday.

Now, before we get into how they work, we wanted to let you know that we'll be including an announcement video and a bulletin insert for you to download. These are great resources that will help you promote family devotionals to your congregation. Alright, well, let's dig in and explore how ShareFaith Kids family devotionals work.

In every ShareFaith Kids lesson, you will find a coloring page for your children. These coloring pages now include a QR code. When this code is scanned by a phone with a QR code reader, families will automatically be taken to an online family devotional that connects to the lesson.

Now, some of you may be asking, what in the world is a QR code? Basically, it's like a barcode, and your mobile phone acts as the scanner. iPhones automatically come with this feature, as well as some Android devices. If somebody's phone does not have a QR code reader, there are lots of great apps that can be downloaded with this feature at the Google Play store.

Also included on every coloring page is the URL families.sharefaith.com. Once there, families can easily input the unlock code, and they will automatically be taken to their devotional. Now, once inside a family devotional, you will find the following. A lesson video that connects to what children watched in class, an overview summary of the lesson, a family scripture reading, interactive discussion questions, a closing prayer, and additional activity resources for families to download.

Finally, families will find a short one-minute survey. Please encourage your families to fill this survey out. It's anonymous, and it will help us continue to improve this exciting resource.

In the end, a successful Sunday school is more than a good curriculum. It's a bridge that connects classrooms and family rooms. This is why getting parents involved is one of your top priorities. With Share Faith Kids Family Devotionals, you can take your Sunday school beyond Sunday.
