  2. Click "Add New Group"
  3. Enter a group name.
  4. Enter a brief description (this is for internal use only).
  5. Enter a contact e-mail address for the group. They will receive notification emails.
  6. Select if the group is public or private. This specifies whether this group and its content are publicly or privately viewable.  (A Group's privacy settings (Public/Private) affect whether the content published to that Group is viewable on the front end. Content published to a Public group is accessible by the public; content published to a Private group requires a member to be (1) logged in and (2) a member of the Group. Here's how to publish private content).
  7. Select a series if desired.
    1. Group Series is used for Staff Layout (usually labeled STAFF). Groups function as the categories for Staff (Pastoral Staff, Administrative Staff, Children's Ministries, etc.).
  8. Select members you would like to add to the group.
  9. Select admins if desired. Admins can add/remove members from the group as well as edit content assigned to the group.
  10. Click Add Group.
