This tutorial is to assist with using Contact Form 7, as of August 2017 we have switched to a different form builder that both, looks better and is easier to use. As a result, we no longer offer support for Contact Form 7 other than these tutorials. We strongly urge that you switch to our new form builder. Follow this link to view the tutorials for our new form tool.

This video tutorial is the first part of a two-part tutorial and covers how to create and edit form fields. Below the video, we have sample codes that you can use to create some basic forms and go from there. Once you are done with this walkthrough, please watch the second part of this tutorial to learn how to configure the form's mail settings and other features, as well as placing the form where you want it to appear on your website.

Important Note: If you are wanting to test what you made, fill it out as someone visiting the website would do. Putting the word "test" in a field, or other repeated words, causes many email providers to mark it as spam and it will not be delivered to your inbox.

Penicillin is one such word that causes the information entered not to send. If you find that the most people are able to send the information and one person is getting the error: "Failed to send your message! Please try later or contact the administrator by another method." There is a good chance they have a blacklisted word in their entry. A common fix for this is either to have them not list the medication and email you directly or have them slightly misspell it, such as leaving one L off of
