First, let's walk through accessing the Horde webmail client, which will allow us to do this:

  1. Log into your hosting control panel with the username and password we provide in your original website creation email.
  2. Click the "e-mail" link to view your email accounts and settings.
  3. To access the mailbox for your account, click the  icon to the right of it.

Exporting files from your mailbox
  1. Once logged into your mailbox, click the Folders tab at the top of the screen.
  2. Check the box next to any and all folders you wish to export.
  3. Click the "Choose Action" drop-down and select the option to either download it as a .zip folder or just the normal download, which will give you a .mbox file (make sure to save these somewhere on your computer that you can find them later).

    • The .zip folder has a folder full of the emails, which will be .eml files
    • The .mbox is a single file that will have all the folder data, including emails. Use this file type to import into other webmail clients.

Repeat these steps for all mailboxes you wish to export.
