Keeping Current Email Provider

***If you have not purchased a domain prior to February 23, 2017, Do NOT follow this Tutorial***

***DISCLAIMER: THIS TUTORIAL IS ONLY TO BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH GOING LIVE WITH YOUR DOMAIN. DO NOT BEGIN HERE. IF YOU ARE GOING LIVE AND HAVE NOT SET UP YOUR DOMAIN THEN BEGIN HERE.***

The changes you need to make will allow for your domain name to point to your new site without changing your current email accounts. You will change only the A record in your current registrar to point to the IP for your new site.

To find your IP address for the server your new site is on, click on Domain settings and you will see an IP address listed there, similar to: 207.158.10.XX (see image below)

Use this IP address for the A record of your domain name setting at your registrar. If you call your current registrar, they will know where to make that change.

The change can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate, after the new site shows for your domain name you can log into the site by adding /login to the end of your domain.

ie: mysite.com/login
