As a result of the growing issue of spam in email accounts all over the internet, we have recently upgraded all of our email members to Spam Experts at no cost to you. As as a result of this added level of protection, all of our current email members using emails with their domain name will need to change their Outgoing Email Server to smtp.sharefaithwebsites.net. This change needs to be completed immediately to avoid any email sending issues. (If you use another email service such as GSuites, Google Apps or other non-Sharefaith hosted email you do not need to make any changes. Roundcube only users will not have any change.)

OutlookThunderbird Android iPhone Mail on Mac Gmail Other















Outlook 2010 and Newer:

Click on "File"

Then on the "Account Settings" button.

Then on the "Account Settings" Dropdown.

Double-Click on your Church email.

In the "Outgoing Mail Server" field, delete and replace the server with smtp.sharefaithwebsites.net

Click Next

If it is correct it will say congratulations.














Thunderbird:

Click on the menu button.

Click on "Options"

Click on "Account Settings"

Click on "Outgoing Server (SMTP)"

Select your outgoing server and click the "Edit" Button

delete and replace the server with smtp.sharefaithwebsites.net

Click OK

Then Click OK again.

And you are done!














Gmail:

  (Those using Google Apps or Gsuite for email don't need to make any changes.)

In settings click on the Accounts and Import tab.

In the "Send Mail As" section, find your church email address and click on "edit info"

A Pop up will appear, click on "Next Step"

In the "SMTP Server" field, delete and replace the server with smtp.sharefaithwebsites.net

In the "Username" Field enter your complete email address. 

Enter your Sharefaith Email Password then click on "Save Changes"

And you are done!














Android:

Each Android Device may have its own mail app. 

Because of this you will need to look up "How to change my outgoing email server on my (insert phone make and model here)"

When you find out where to change it; delete and replace the server with smtp.sharefaithwebsites.net














iPhone:

Go to your phone Settings

Click "Mail"

Click "Accounts"

Click on your Church Email Account

Click on "Account"

Click on SMTP in your "Outgoing Email Server" Section

Click the server underneath "Primary Server"

In the "Host Name" field delete and replace the server with smtp.sharefaithwebsites.net

Click "Done"

And you are finished!















Mail on Mac:

Click on Mail

Then on preferences

Then click "Server Settings"

Click on the drop-down box and select "Edit SMTP server list"

Click on your outgoing emails server.

Delete and replace the server with smtp.sharefaithwebsites.net

Click OK

And you are done!














Other:

For all other email clients including printers, copiers, and scanners:

You will need to look up "How to change my outgoing email server on my (insert make and model here)"

When you find out where to change it; delete and replace the server with smtp.sharefaithwebsites.net
